B.M.C. – The Company

Carlos Candeias and his team formerly designed and produced (also for OEM) very high grade audio components for renowned brands, and gathered a lot of international acknowledgement from music lovers and audio press.
Based on this background the idea of realising new concepts by forming this team came up. Thus B.M.C. company was founded, in order to realise exceptional components with an elegant look, and with the flexibility and future options of a modular design, for the individual music lover.

B.M.C. stands for stirring sound quality based on exceptional and innovative technology, which, combined with elegant appearance, fair price and individual options of the modular design, sets a refreshing note within the High-End audio world.

B.M.C. Audio GmbH is a legal German GmbH, founded Jan. 30. 2009 in Kassel.

Owner and Managing Director is Juan Carlos Candeias Isaac.

The new company address is Germany, 59590 Geseke, Van-der-Reis-Weg 9.

In 1986 while still studying electronic engineering at the Technical University in Berlin Carlos Candeias already founded the company Candeias Audio Electronics. Besides his own products and projects he did a lot of designs for a Japanese customer. Consequently, in 2001 he moved the company to China were the Candeias Electronics Co., Ltd. grew to an industrial style company with its own development and manufacturing, specialised in High-End audio electronics. Over the years a lot of exceptional technology has been created, grown mature and in the meantime set Milestones concerning music reproduction.

Manfred Penning
Since the mid 1970s Manfred Penning has been developing high grade speakers and DIY speaker sets as well as audio amplifiers for professional audio use. In the 1980s he had a renowned shop serving the highest audiophile expectations as well as system solutions for PA. In 1993 he joined RESTEK, again dedicating himself to the development of speakers and amplifiers.

Michael Conrad
R&D and Marketing

Michael Conrad was co-founder of the Outsider Team in Giessen, where he developed exclusive speakers, starting during his university studies. He was involved in the development of amplifiers and turntables as well. Later he recorded audiophile CDs for Sony classical and his own label Kultmän. For this purpose he developed his own recording electronics, based on circuit designs of Carlos Candeias, whom he learned to know during this time. Since 2003 at Candeias Electronics.

Xiao Yan Tang
Service- und Produktmanagerin

Xiao Yan Tang lives in Germany since 2000 and studied Electrical Engineering in Kassel. Next to her studies she absolved several industrial internships. As a student assistant and later as research associate at the University of Kassel she showed her talent and proofed her outstanding skills. Her abilities made her a perfect match and lead her to join the B.M.C. Audio team. Xiao Yan Tang speaks Chinese, German and English.
